Sunday, June 9, was not an ordinary day as it was the India vs Pakistan match at the ongoing World Cup 2024. The whole country was glued to their TV screens to witness the thrilling match, and well our boys made sure we got some. Despite being heartbroken to see Virat Kohli and skipper Rohit Sharma return to the restroom early, Jasprit Bhumrah managed to keep the hopes of millions high. As usual, India won against Pakistan by a narrow margin of six runs.

Following the win, all the cameras panned to the stands where Anushka Sharma was sitting. The actress was seen celebrating the moment.

Anushka, the wife of Virat Kohli, was sitting at the edge of her seat throughout the making. However, the moment team India won the match she jumped up and was seen celebrating with her friends. A video of the actress has gone viral from the stands in which she is beaming with joy.

Varun Dhawan, who recently welcomed a baby girl, shared a snapshot of India's winning moment on his Instagram Stories and wrote, "What a match what a performance team india! Jai Hind!.” Sidharth Malhotra, on the other hand, shared a picture of Team India and wrote, "What a win, #TeamIndia. #HappySunday indeed! Excitement level at max, as always."

Amitabh Bachchan took to his X handle and shared that he was watching the match but in between he shut down the TV as he thought India was going to lose. However, he happened to scroll through the internet later and got to know that India had won. He shared the photo of Jasprit Bhumra and wrote, "WE WON WE WON WE WON!!! YEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHH .... !!!!
