Munawar Faruqui who tied the knot with now wife Mehzabeen in 2024 often grab headlines due to his past relationships. The comedian was dating Nazila Sitaishi for two years which got much attention before they eventually parted ways. Recently, Bigg Boss 16 winner Munawar lost his temper when someone shouted his ex-girlfriend Nazila's name and asked about her. Upon hearing her name, his mood instantly changed, and he angrily approached the man. The video of the incident is now going viral.

A video of the incident has gone viral, caught a man calling out to Munawar as he left the pitch after an ECLT10 match. Munawar stopped and turned to see who had called him. The man then asked, “Nazila kaisi hai?” (How is Nazila?).

Munawar, clearly angered by the comment, walked directly towards the man and said, “Idhar aa ja… Tu idhar aa ja na, batata hoon” (Come here… I’ll show you). Before the situation could escalate further, the ground staff intervened, urging him to step away and avoid a confrontation.

As the video circulated online, many netizens noted that Munawar appeared visibly “triggered” by the mention of Nazila’s name.

Munawar Faruqui's controversial dating history

For unversed, Munawar was previously accused of cheating on his ex-girlfriend Nazila and being involved with both her and actress Ayesha Khan at the same time. Things turned dramatic when Ayesha joined Bigg Boss 16 as a wildcard contestant and made startling allegations. She claimed that Munawar had proposed marriage to Nazila before joining the show but later lied on national television, stating he was single.

On May 26, 2024, Munawar surprised fans by marrying makeup artist Mehzabeen Coatwala in a private ceremony. Mehzabeen has an 11-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, while Munawar, who was previously married to Jasmine, has a seven-year-old son named Mikael.
