Jennifer Lopez, who was supposed to treat her fans with her hit tracks during This Is Me...Now tour this summer, has abruptly cancelled the event. This has come amid the divorce rumours of Jennifer and Ben Affleck. The singer released a statement in her OntheJLO newsletter explaining why she is pulling the plug on her upcoming tour.

Taking to her OntheJLO newsletter, Jennifer apologised to her fans and assured them she would make it up to them. She wrote, "I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time..." The email also included a message from tour promoter Live Nation that read, "Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends".

This Is Me... Now tour was supposed to happen in 30 cities and was meant to be a victory lap. Earlier, several adjustments and curtailments were made to the tour, including chopping off dates.

There have been reports that the actors, who rekindled their romance in 2021 after 20 years, are facing marital troubles. The reports come at a time when Lopez is busy promoting Atlas, which she has also produced. "OK, we're not doing that," Liu immediately told the reporter when he posed the question during the press tour.

Lopez looked at the reporter and said, "You know better than that". Affleck and Lopez met in 2002 but eventually split in 2004. Affleck went on to marry Jennifer Garner while Lopez married Marc Anthony.
