The Hunger Games trailer gives a glimpse of the past

The Hunger Games trailer starts off with the supreme hierarchy that is ordained over all the districts in the film’s setting. It features the song The Hanging Tree, which was sung in the first Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in Mockingjay. The film will focus on a young Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth, previously played by Donald Sutherland in the previous franchise), who is attempting to save his family’s legacy.

He ends up being the mentor to Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler), who is set to participate in the 10th Hunger Games. The trailer showcases that their collaboration over navigating political situations and showcasing showmanship leads them to traverse a life-changing path.
