Jailer box office day 20: Rajinikanth's film inches closer to Rs 350 crore in India

Superstar Rajinikanth's latest film Jailer continues its dream run at the box office in its third week. The film is drawing full houses in theaters across the world even after 20 days of its release. The movie has raked over Rs. 300 crore nett at the domestic box office and is inching towards Rs. 650 crore worldwide.

Jailer continues its steady run at box office

On its 20th day of release, Jailer earned a total of Rs. 3.25 crore in India, as per the early estimates by Sacnilk. Over the course of the past 20 days, the film has shattered several box office records. Currently, its total collection stands at Rs. 322.65 crore at the domestic box office.

On Monday, the film maintained an overall Tamil occupancy rate of 28.84% in theaters. The morning shows witnessed a seat occupancy of 19.11%, which climbed to 29.46% during the afternoon screenings. The evening shows garnered 37.41% occupancy, and the night screenings reached a peak occupancy of 29.39%, according to Sacnilk. Meanwhile, as per trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, the movie has earned over Rs. 600 worldwide and is eyeing Rs. 650 crore globally.
