Amid NCT Taeil’s Sex Scandal Controversy, Band Member Haechan Delivers Emotional Message To Fans

NCT Taeil Sex Scandal: NCT, one of the most popular boy bands in South Korea, is caught up in the controversy due to one of its members, Taeil. Amid this, another member from the group, Haechan has shared an emotional letter, addressing their fans.

NCT Haechan pens a message for fans

As per reports, in a lengthy note shared by singer Haechan on communication subscription service, he addressed his fans following the sex scandal of Taeil.

He wrote, “Haechan has reached Bogotá! I had a lot of thoughts on my mind all throughout today, so I thought I would tell some of them to you guys as I eat my inflight meal, haha."

He added, “How can it be that this year marks our eighth anniversary… To be honest, I started this job with a love for singing and dancing, but I realized that there are many more things that are more important, and that I have to take into consideration, other than singing and dancing. Of course, I’m still learning, but the thing that I’ve come to learn the most is that we always have to work hard so that we are not deluded… These things aren’t something I created all by myself because I’m so great, but if my members had not been next to me, would I have been able to come this far? Would I be able to have as much fun as I am now? No — would I even have the opportunity to be having fun?”

“Sometimes when I see the members in one file in front of countless NCTzens during shows, I feel kind of weird inside. Like, “Ah, right, the members are celebrities LOL. These people I love and depend on as I joke around and play with them, are really cool people that are loved by so many.” There’s times were I get fascinated like that. I’m able to do all these things because I have such members by my side! Although all these things we have achieved may seem like nothing to some people, we really worked so hard. During these eight years, we released so many albums that I can’t even count them. We’ve worked so hard trulY," Haechan further wrote.

He said that he was thankful for all the wins and how the fans are able to recognise them and meet them so enthusiastically. He also mentioned that ’NCT’, these three letters are his everything and will work hard in the future because of my members.

Why was Taeil removed from the group?

After the allegations of sexual assault against Taeil surfaced on social media, NCT’s agency SM Entertainment immediately took action by removing him from the group. The agency even addressed their decision on social media and informed the same to the fans and netizens.

Fans too took to social media to show their anger over the current scandal and even compared it to the Burning Sun Scandal in 2019, a sex crimes controversy, which involved several prominent figures including several idols of popular K-pop groups, and police officials.
