Jeethu Joseph, who is busy working on his upcoming film Ram: Part 1, has announced his other film of 2024. The director shared a motion poster, unveiling the cast and title of the film. The Malayalam film will be produced by Ramesh P. Pillai under the banner Abhishek Films.

First look of Level Cross

Taking to Instagram, Jeethu Joseph shared a clip announcing the title of the film Level Cross. The film stars - Amala Paul, Asif Ali and Sharaf U Dheen - in the lead. The clip starts with unveiling the names of the cast and then it moves towards a tunnel from which a train can be seen coming out. The text on the train read, "National Railway". It offers the first glimpse of the characters in which Amala and Sharaf look worried while in the background Asif gives a witty look.

Sharaf also shared the video on his Instagram handle and captioned it as "Kicking off this New year with Level Cross".

What's next for Jeethu Joseph?

The director is also working on Mohanlal starrer Ram: Part 1, a two-part series. It is touted to be an action-thriller and the principal photography of the film began in January 2020. However, production was delayed for approximately two years and seven months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the film is expected to release this year in which Mohanlal will be seen as a RAW agent. He is summoned by the agency to deal with Bael, a terrorist group that possesses nuclear weapons capable of destroying India.

Last year, Jeethu had one release Neru, starring Mohanlal along with Priyamani, Anaswara Rajan, Siddique, Sankar Induchoodan, Santhi and Jagadish in the supporting roles. The film opened to positive reviews from critics with praise directed at Mohanlal for his performance. The film so far earned ₹50 crores at the box office worldwide.
