Malaikottai Vaaliban: Mohanlal’s leaked poster hints at war and drama of epic proportions

The hype around Mohanlal’s upcoming Malayalam movie Malaikottai Vaaliban is massive and people cannot wait to know what the makers have to offer with this one. Apart from Mohanlal, the movie has an ensemble cast of actors including Mohanlal, Sonalee Kulkarni, Andrea Rivera and Hareesh Peradi.

A leaked poster from the much-anticipated film has caused a buzz on social media, offering an intriguing glimpse into the expansive cinematic venture. Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, the poster of the movie displays a fusion of war drama and thrilling action sequences, hinting at an epic narrative with promising choreographed dance sequences.

Malaikottai Vaaliban also known as Hero of Malaikottai is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 25, 2024. The film is an action-packed narrative scripted by P. S. Rafeeque.

Malaikottai Vaaliban's official poster was released on Christmas

Mohanlal released a captivating poster of Malaikottai Vaaliban on Christmas. Taking to Twitter with festive greetings, the poster featured a traditional ritual, featuring the actor amidst a group of saints. The principal photography of Malaikottai Vaaliban stretched over 130 days across diverse locations, including Rajasthan, Chennai, and Pondicherry.

Mohanlal is currently enjoying the success of his recently released movie Neru which is directed by Jeethu Joseph. The court drama has garnered praise from audiences, earning over Rs 15 crores within just six days. Neru marked the fourth collaboration between Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal after Drishyam and 12th Man. Neru revolves around a lawyer who suffers from PTSD and takes over a sensitive case. 

Neru marked Priyamani's comeback to the Malayalam film industry after four years where she played the counter advocate to Mohanlal - Advocate Poornima. Neru is also a revival of Mohanlal’s fate after back-to-back flops including Monster, Aarattu and Alone.
