Karmma Calling second teaser out, Raveena Tandon treats fans in a never-seen-before avatar

Raveena Tandon is making a comeback to the digital realm. Her upcoming venture is the Disney Plus Hotstar series titled Karmma Calling. Recently, the makers unveiled its second teaser.

Raveena Tandon goes glam in Karmma Calling teaser

Raveena Tandon takes on the character of Indrani Kothari, a wealthy and highly fashionable figure in Alibaug society.  The scene unfolds in her living room, with Raveena gracefully seated. Set against the backdrop of the ultra-rich and affluent Kothari family, the series serves as an adaptation of the acclaimed American TV series Revenge, drawing inspiration from Alexandre Dumas' 1844 novel, The Count of Monte Cristo. Sharing the teaser, the actress wrote, "Intezaar, woh bhi mera? Lamba chalega. Let Karma come calling, I will handle it."

Talking about the series, Raveena Tandon said that she hasn’t played such a character in a very long time and is looking forward to audience's reaction. The actress said, "Indrani Kothari believes the world is her stage. Karmma Calling is definitely more than what meets the eye and explores different facets of the world of the rich. Playing Indrani helped me explore more for myself as an actor. It is a never-seen-before and never done before role and I am looking forward to audience reactions. Collaborating with Ruchi Narain has been exceptional.”

Director Ruchi Narain also elaborated on the series and said, “Karmma Calling is set against the backdrop of the ultra-rich and affluent Kothari family and all that conspires around them in their world. The series has massive grandeur, scale and a glamorous outlook with a story that weaves in revenge, deceit, and betrayals and also navigates the experiences of the Kothari family.
