After Maamannan’s success, Fahadh Faasil, Vadivelu reunite for Sudheesh Sankar’s next

Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil, who made a lasting impression in Mari Selvaraj's Maamannan last year, are teaming up again for a new Tamil film. Kollywood production company Super Good Films announced their 98th project, featuring the two actors. It is written and directed by Sudheesh Sankar.

In a social media post on New Year's Eve, the producers revealed the news about Super Good Films' Production No. 98. Under the direction of Sudheesh Sankar, the project was unveiled with a poster that featured the cast of the movie.

The film may be a road trip drama, based on the poster's yellow color and the road that passes through. It is anticipated that more information about the unnamed project will be made public soon.  

The film's technical crew includes Yuvan Shankar Raja, who will compose, and Kalaiselvan Sivaji, who will serve as the cinematographer, even though the plot of the picture is still unknown. Sreejith Sarang will be in charge of the film's editing.

Fahadh Faasil’s work in Tamil film industry 

It should be mentioned that this upcoming movie marks Fahadh and Vadivelu's second project together. They first worked with each other in Maamannan, directed by Mari Selvaraj and starring Udhayanidhi Stalin.

Super Good Films' next marks Faasil's sixth Tamil film. The actor made his Kollywood debut in Velaikkaran (2017) directed by Mohan Raja. He went on to play important roles in Super Deluxe (2019) directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram (2022).

Faasil is currently collaborating with Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, and Manju Warrier on TJ Gnanavel's action film Vettaiyan. On the other hand, Vadivelu's career was revitalized by Maamannan. After working in this movie, the actor also landed a big part in P Vasu's horror comedy Chandramukhi 2.
