Ayalaan: Sivakarthikeyan reveals Siddharth's fees for voicing the alien in the sci-fi film

Sivakarthikeyan starrer Ayalaan is one of the many films that is scheduled to release during the Pongal week in 2024. After the success of Sivakarthikeyan's back to back box office success with films like Doctor, Don and Maaveeran, the expectations from the sci-fi film is relatively high. With industry biggies like filmmaker Ravi Kumar and music composer AR Rahman associated with the film, the buzz around the film has been insane. Just a few days ago, it was revealed that actor Sidharth has lent his voice to the alien in the film. Now, in a recent promotional event, the star of the film Sivakarthikeyan has revealed the money that the Chithha star charged for the same.

Sivakarthikeyan reveals how much Sidharth charged to voice Ayalaan

During a promotional event for Ayalaan in Chennai, actor Siva Karthikeya spoke about how Sidharth has dubbed for the alien in the film, which is funny and clever. He also revealed that the actor "didn't charge a penny for his work."

Sivakarthikeyan too didn't charge any fees for Ayalaan?

While Siddharth is making headlines for his kind gesture, it is also reported that actor Sivakarthikeyan himself hasn't charged any fees to make the film despite being one of the most celebrated stars in the Tamil film industry. Apparently, this was to help the makers as they were stuck in production difficulties.

Ayalaan, which is reportedly made on a huge budget, was stalled due to issues with the production and the actor let go of his fees for the smooth release of the film.

What more do we know about Ayalaan?

Ayalaan is directed by R Ravikumar who is known for his only film Indru Netru Naali (2015). The film apart from Sivakarthikeyan, also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Isha Koppikar and Yogi Babu in important roles. The film which is scheduled for Pongal 2024 is yet to reveal the actual release date. The trailer launch event for the film will be held in Dubai on January 7, a week for the festival of Pongal.
