Dubbing Artists Lose Out On Kanguva As AI To Be Used For Suriya's Film

Suriya starrer Kanguva will mark the Tamil debut of Bobby Deol and Disha Patani. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 14.

Suriya's pan-India film Kanguva is all set for release. The trailer of the Siva directorial has generated immense hype and all eyes are on its release on November 14. In the latest development, Producer KE Gnanavel Raja recently shared few interesting details about his upcoming film.

Suriya’s voice in Kanguva to dubbed with the help of AI?

According to a report in Eenadu (Tamil), the producer said, “Suriya is dubbing for the Tamil version, but we will use AI for other languages. This marks new territory for Kollywood. Recently, Vettaiyan makers did something similar for Amitabh Bachchan ’s voice. We hope it’ll succeed because we want to release the film in Chinese and Japanese also.”

In the same chat, Gnanavel also mentioned that Kanguva will be released in around 3500 screens worldwide. The producer said the film’s team has also approached Rajinikanth and Prabhas to be the chief guests at the pre-release event.

The film is backed by UV Creations and Studio Green also features actor  Disha Patani . Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. In the upcoming film, Bobby Deol will play the antagonist. He will essay the character named Udhiran in the movie. It will be released in 3D in 10 different languages.

Kanguva promises a raw, rustic, and new visual experience to the audience with never-before-seen action sequences on a massive scale. In the movie, Suriya will play a double role. This is one of the reasons that the film has stoked curiosity among his fans. The film shows the story of two different eras, pre-historical and present era and the makers have ensured the scale and the execution in these two timelines comes as a visual delight for the audiences.
