Jewel Thief: Saif Ali Khan And Jaideep Ahlawat's Heist Drama To Release In April On Netflix

Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat's starrer Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins has finally got a release date. The movie, produced by Siddharth Anand, will stream on Netflix. On Friday, the official Instagram page of the streaming giant shared a new poster of the movie and shared that the film will release later next month - April 25. Apart from Saif and Jaideep, the movie also stars Kunal Kapoor and Nikita Dutta in pivotal roles.

A poster shared on Instagram shows Saif in a dapper look while Jaideep in a rugged avatar. Seeing the poster, it seems Kunal is on a mission to nab the thief.  "The bigger the risk, the sweeter the steal. Aa raha hai the incredible- Jewel Thief. Watch Jewel Thief, out 25 April, only on Netflix," read the caption. In this high-octane battle of wits and wills, ingenious con artist Rehan devises a diamond heist while trying to outsmart Rajan, his sadistic adversary.

Watch the teaser of Jewel Thief

Last month, the makers unveiled the teaser, offering a glimpse of the movie. The teaser shows Saif and Jaideep's characters calling it a truce to steal the world's most elusive diamond - The African Red Sun. However, the perfectly planned heist takes a drastic turn when one tries to outwit another. Chaos, twists, and unexpected alliances unfold in this high-stakes race, making it a deadly game of deception and betrayal.

Speaking about the movie, Siddharth expressed his happiness at making his OTT debut with Netflix. He further shared that the film has been a labour of love, combining action, suspense, and intrigue to craft an edge-of-the-seat cinematic experience. He said this project pushed their creative boundaries in bringing a gripping storyline and high-octane sequences worthy of a film for their OTT debut.

The movie is being produced by Siddharth's wife Mamta Anand under the banner of A Marflix Production.
