Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2 Trailer X Review: Netizens Hail Chiyaan Vikram's Action Thriller, Say 'OG Mass Hero Is Back'

Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2 Trailer Out: Chiyaan Vikram is gearing up for the release of his much-delayed movie. It serves as a prequel to Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 1 which is yet to begin with the production work. As the movie is nearing the release date, the makers unveiled a trailer that shows the actor in an intriguing look. Soon after, it was all over social media with fans praising the actor's performance and hailing GV Prakash's background score.

The over 1-minute trailer will take you on a roller coaster ride of raw emotions, power-pack dialogues and high-octane action sequences. It introduces Vikram as Kaali, a provision store owner and a family man, whose involvement in a dangerous crime network and his mysterious mission form the rest of the story. The trailer also offers a glimpse of S. J. Suryah's character as SP A. Arunagir and  Suraj Venjaramoodu (in his Tamil debut) as Kannan. The trailer is a treat for all those who are interested in watching a fast-paced spectacle.

Netizens call Veera Dheera Sooran 'a blockbuster'

Soon after the trailer was released, movie buffs flooded the comment section with their reviews. A user wrote, "Chiyaan Vikram entry... G V Prakash Music peaked here". Another wrote, "OG mass hero is back". A third user wrote, "Gv Prakash background score super." A fan wrote, "Confirm blockbuster thalaivar chiyaan veera theera suran."

Netizens also commented on the film clashing with Malayalam movie L2: Empuraan, starring stalwarts like Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran. A user wrote, "After long dry month March gonna PEAK at the end." 

Another wrote, " Don't miss both. Let the history repeat".  “Empuraan also on the same month I wish both movie become blockbuster And give both Vikram And Lal A10 comeback," a movie buff wrote.

For the unversed, in 2016 Mohanlal and Vikram clashed at the box office with their movies Oppam and Iru Mugan, respectively. Despite the clash, both became blockbusters at the box office in India.

Veera Dheera Sooran is a duology with the second part releasing first. Apart from Vikram, SJ Surya and Suraj, the movie also stars Dushara Vijayan, Siddique, Sreeja Ravi and Prudhvi Raj, in pivotal roles. During the trailer launch, the makers also unveiled the music album of the movie, featuring five songs all composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The movie will release on the big screen on March 27.
