Vettaiyan Star Cast Fees: Is Rajinikanth Charging Whopping ₹125 Crore For Action Drama?

Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Vettaiyan, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan , Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil and Manju Warrier, in pivotal roles. However, ahead of the release a list of star cast's fees is doing the rounds. According to Filmibeat, Vettaiyan is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹250 crore, and Rajinikanth is earning the most out of all the star cast.

Rajinikanth

Thalaivar, who plays the role of a cop, has reportedly charged ₹125 crore for his role.

Amitabh Bachchan

The Bollywood superstar, who is making his Tamil debut, has reportedly been paid ₹7 crore for his cameo appearance.

Manju Warrier

The actress, who plays Rajinikanth's wife in Vettaiyan has reportedly received a salary between ₹2 to₹3 crores.

Rana Daggubati

The actor, who plays an interesting role, has reportedly charged ₹5 crore for his supporting role.

Fahadh Faasil

It's another solid role from the Pushpa actor, and reportedly received ₹4 crore.

Dushara Vijayan

Dushara Vijayan's role is still a surprise and she has reportedly been paid ₹50 lakhs.

Ritika Singh

The actress plays a cop, who helps Rajinikanth on his mission and has reportedly received ₹25 lakhs.

Anirudh Ravichander

Songs and background scores composed by him are going to be key ones, and he reportedly received a salary of ₹5 crore.

TJ Gnanavel

The director worked for almost a year on the movie and reportedly charged ₹3 crore for the social drama.
