Vettaiyan: Makers To Change Title Of Rajinikanth Starrer In Telugu?

Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Vettaiyan, helmed by TJ Gnanavel. The movie will release on the occasion of Dusshera, ie. October 10 and the superstar has begun with the promotions. In the latest development, the film will be releasing in multiple languages had opted for a Tamil title including in Telugu.

Vettaiyan to have a different title in Telugu?

 In the note, the production company, Lyca Productions stated, “Initially, we have decided to title the Telugu dubbed version of VETTAIYAN in Telugu language i.e., VETAGADU, and have requested for the registration of the same title.”

“Due to the unavailability of the title and to also capture the core meaning of the film suitably, we were impelled to adopt the uniform title VETTAIYAN The Hunter for all dubbed versions,” the makers further added. However, the makers expressed their gratitude towards the audience and requested to keep on cooperating with them as the movie is set to release.

Apart from the Telugu version, the Rajinikanth starrer will be releasing in Hindi and Kannada dubbed version as well with the same name.

Produced by Subaskaran's Lyca Productions, the film also stars Ritika Singh, Dusshera Vijayan and Abhirami in pivotal roles. The movie marks the Tamil debut of Big B. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for the film, while cinematography was handled by S. R. Kathir and editing by Philomin Raj. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on October 10, coinciding with Vijayadashami.
