Vettaiyan Prevue Out: Supercop Rajinikanth At Loggerheads With Amitabh Bachchan Over Encounter Cases

Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan makers unveiled the first look of the movie today, September 20 at the audio launch in Chennai. The over 1-minute teaser offers a glimpse of the plotline featuring Amitabh Bachchan , Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier and Abhirami.

Rajinikanth is an Encounter Specialist in Vettaiyan

The teaser showcases Rajinikanth supporting encounters. The clip opens at a scene where police officers are sitting in a conference room discussing the encounter cases. The conference is led by Amitabh Bachchan , who is probing police officer Rajinikanth. When he asks the officers if the encounter makes them look "heroic", Rajinikanth replies that such killings are not just punishments but also a message to other criminals. The teaser shows Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan at loggerheads over encounters conducted by the top police officers.

The teaser also shows Rajinikanth performing high-octane stunts and taking on dangerous criminals single-handedly. The clip also offers a glimpse of Rana, Fahadh, Manju and Abhirami's characters.

The action drama, helmed by TJ Gnanavel, is slated to hit the theatres on October 10, coinciding with Vijayadashami. Ahead of the release, the makers have organised an audio launch today to keep the audience hooked. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and so far the makers have released three songs from the movie - Vettaiyan Birthday Teaser Music, Manasilaayo and Hunter Vantaa.
