Thalapathy Vijay's Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) stormed into worldwide cinemas on September 5, sparking widespread celebrations. The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment's Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh. The film follows a former RAW agent's thriller journey. With innovative technology and a talented cast, including Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prashanth, and Prabhu Deva, GOAT brings a fresh storyline to life. The movie also has surprise cameos, featuring MS Dhoni, Sivakarthikeyan, and Trisha, which have sent fans into a frenzy. As the movie is released in theatres, photos and videos from the screenings are spreading rapidly online, with Trisha and MS Dhoni's appearances generating particular excitement.
Trisha Krishnan's lively cameo in the film has quickly gained attention and gone viral on X with leaked footage from the theatre. She appears alongside Vijay in the special song Matta, and fans are buzzing with excitement on social media.
There had been long-standing rumours about Trisha’s cameo in Venkat Prabhu's directorial, but the filmmakers stayed silent, leaving fans in suspense. However, the rumours turned out to be true, with a surprise twist. Trisha and Vijay seem to have recreated their iconic dance from the 2004 Appadi Podu song in Ghilli. As soon as the video went out online, fans started reacting with comments like "fan steps, same vibes" and “best treat ever.”
On the other side, a cinematic segment featuring MS Dhoni playing an IPL match, got the fans' mouths open with excitement. Although Ms Dhoni’s cameo in 'GOAT' lasted only a few seconds, the audience couldn't stop cheering and applauding. Interestingly, both Vijay and Dhoni are affectionately called 'Thala' by their fans.
As soon as clips from the theatre hit the internet, fans couldn’t contain their excitement. One user commented, "The theatre turned into a stadium." Another added, "I’m ready to spend dollars on this movie." Even Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister, MK Stalin, once said, "I’m also a fan of MS Dhoni. Tamil Nadu’s adopted son, Dhoni, should continue to play for CSK."
