Taylor Swift, the American singer, and songwriter declined to participate in Manchester and Parkland benefit concerts that are organized in honor of the lives lost in the Manchester Bombing during Ariana Grande's concert and the Parkland school shooting. The reason is that they were run by Scooter Braun. In the recent cover story for a magazine, the 29-year old singer denied the accusations made on her for missing the performance and said, 'unbelievable'. She further said that everyone in her team knows, if Scooter Braun offers something, it should not be brought up to her.

Borchetta's accusation

The founder of Big Machine Records, Scott Borchetta accused the singer on her decision to opt-out from the performance. In reply of which, Swift said that the team already knows not to bring her anything by Scooter Braun. Taylor Swift also commented on the prolonged dispute with Brochetta and Braun that started with Brochetta signing a deal with Braun on Swift's masters which are worth $300 million dollars. The singer also believes that the men involved in the acquisition are powerful and rich. Borchetta along with her wife claimed publically that the singer was well aware of the deal and had every chance to keep her master. However, Swift has said repeatedly that she was unknown of the deal in mention. Furthermore, the singer called the deal sneaky.
