He posted photos of him and his wife on his official Instagram handle. The photo featured him with his wife who is soon to become a mother. In the caption, he wished her and called her his best friend. He also stated that they are expecting a child together. He also expressed his love and gratitude towards her. The upcoming project of Kapil Sharma

Kapil Sharma will be part of a 2021 animated family musical film. He will lend his voice to a character from the film. The movie will feature Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles and it is expected to release on January 1, 2021. It is an animated take on the movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The movie is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and will also feature Ritiesh Deshmukh. The film is said to mark the 20th anniversary of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. It will be titled Koochie Koochie Hota Hai.
