Devara: Jr NTR drops new poster, reveals first 'glimpse' to be out on THIS date

Jr NTR is currently gearing up for his upcoming film titled Devara. The film is helmed by Siva Koratala and will feature Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. Ahead of the film's release, the makers dropped a new poster of the film and made an official announcement regarding the first glimpse of Devara.

Jr NTR's treats fans with new Devara poster

On the occasion of New Year 2024, Jr NTR took to his social media handle to drop a big update about Devara. He announced that the first glimpse of Devara is going to release on January 8. Along with the big update, he released a new poster as a treat to his fans. In the poster, Jr NTR was seen donning a shirt teamed with black pants. He was seen sailing on his boat amid high tides in the backdrop. Sharing the poster, he wrote, “అందరికీ నూతన సంవత్సర శుభాకాంక్షలు! Wishing you all a very Happy New Year. Can’t wait for you all to experience the glimpse of #Devara on Jan 8th.”

Kalyan Ram says Jr NTR's Devara is bigger than GoT

Kalyan Ram, who is also the producer of Devara, spoke about the film during one of the promotional events for the Telugu film Devil, which stars Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Samyuktha Menon in the lead roles. During the media interaction, Kalyan Ram also discussed the film's underwater sequence, which he claims will be seen for the first time in Indian cinema.

He said, "We have executed an underwater sequence that was never before done in Indian cinema If someone compares Devara with Game of Thrones, I feel this is more than that. I don't care about other comments because Devara is Devara."

He added, "The movie unfolds during the 1900s period. After catching a glimpse, you will understand why Koratala Siva is supported, irrespective of the outcome of his previous movie." Meanwhile, Devara will get a pan-India release on April 5, 2024, in theatres.
