Devara: Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor starrer's action-packed teaser to feature multiple VFX shots

The makers of Devara are currently in the midst of seeing through the last leg of filming for their big banner project. Devara is arguably one of the biggest releases of the year. Led by Jr NTR, the film will mark the actor's next release after the globally renowned RRR. The film also marks Janhvi Kapoor's Telugu debut. The teaser, which is set to be out soon, carries a glimpse into the world of Devara.

Devara teaser to be out soon

A date has been fixed for the release of the Devara teaser which will mark the first big visual update regarding the film since its character posters. For the unversed, Jr NTR had shared an official update about the film's teaser, revealing its release date to be January 8. Additional information about the teaser, as per a 123Telugu report, reveals that the clip will be a minute and ten seconds long carrying action-packed sequences additionally exhibiting the VFX prowess featured in the film.

A new poster for the film was also shared by Jr NTR which features the actor standing atop a boat on stormy waters. Besides Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, the film also features Saif Ali Khan in the role of the primary antagonist. Directed by Koratala Siva with music by Anirudh. The film is slated for an April 5 release.

Producer Nandamuri Kalyan Ram compares Devara to Games of Thrones

In a media interaction, while promoting his own film Devil, Kalyan Ram, who is also a producer for Devara, expressed his vote of confidence for the film's VFX. The actor and producer even went so far as to directly compare Devara with Game of Thrones, pegging the former above the latter.

He said, "We have executed an underwater sequence that was never before done in Indian cinema. If someone compares Devara with Game of Thrones, I feel this is more than that. I don't care about other comments because Devara is Devara."
