Nandamuri Kalyan Ram announces sequel to Devil at a success party

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's much-anticipated movie Devil: The British Secret Agent has been released today. The action-drama is directed and produced by Abhishek Nama.  At the success celebrations, to everybody's surprise Kalyan Ram announced a sequel to Devil, scheduled for a 2025 release. Reflecting on the inception of Devil 2, he said," We always had the idea of Devil 2 right from the very beginning."

He adds, "While we were shooting for Devil, Srikanth Vissa told us an idea that could be made into another film. I will share a tidbit. Devil 2 will have both the 1940s era and the 2000s era. It will be a mixture of both." Samyukta Menon starred as the female lead, alongside a notable cast including Malvika Nair, Ajay, Satya, Edward Sonnenblick, Elnaaz Norouzi, Srikanth Iyengar, and Seetha. The film's music was composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, while Soundar Rajan. S handled cinematography."

What is Devil all about?

Devil: The British Secret Agent follows the story of a British secret agent who takes up the job of solving a dark mystery. The film is directed by Abhishek Nama with actress Samyuktha joining as the lead. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, an Indian actor, producer, and VFX company owner who works in Telugu cinema, known for his roles in action films like Athanokkade, Hare Ram, and 118. He is the Chairperson of the production company N. T. R. and also owns Advitha Creative Studios, a VFX company.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram was recently seen in the fantasy action film Bimbisara and the 2023 action-thriller film Amigos. Bimbisara went on to become a great hit in the Telugu industry. It received positive reviews from critics. His 2023 film Amigos received mixed receptions.  The film also featured him in a triple role. Ram has been featured in 40 movies, including Bimbisara, Amigos, and Devil. He has been married to Swathi since 2006, and they have two children, Taraka Advitha and Sourya Ram.

Kalyan Ram is also the producer of Jr NTR's much-awaited film Devara, which marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The film is directed by Koratala Siva and it is scheduled for an April release.
