Photo: Ranbir Kapoor's Animal Look Inspires Ram Charan For Buchi Babu's RC16

After the global success of RRR, Ram Charan is gearing up for his upcoming project- Shankar's Game Changer and Buchi Babu Sana's untitled RC16. While Game Changer shoot has wrapped up, with the film eyeing release later this year early 2025, Charan has begun prep for RC16, which also stars Shiva Rajkumar and Janhvi Kapoor . On Instagram, the Magadheera star posted a picture in which he was seen with the popular celebrity fitness trainer Shivohaam, hinting that he will be undergoing a physical transformation for the role.

What's the Ranbir Kapoor connection?

Among many others, Shivohaam has also worked with Ranbir Kapoor for his transformation from a lean physique in Brahmastra and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar to a bulked-up look in Animal. With Shivohaam onboard, it seems like Ram Charan is set to aim for an Animal level makeover for himself for RC16.

Sharing a photo with the RRR star, Shivohaam wrote, "It's an absolute honour to work with you on this transformation journey. Thank you @alwaysramcharan for having me on board as your fitness coach. Im looking forward to the road ahead !!! It's going to be great (sic)."

What do we know about RC16?

RC16 is Ram Charan's 16th film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Upenna fame. Billed as a "pan-India entertainer", the project is produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers. Music maestro AR Rahman will compose music for the movie. Sana will also write the film, which is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru. Rumours suggest that it is a rural set drama that will showcase North Andhra and could see Ram Charan possibly essay the role of a kabbadi player. The movie could release by late next year.
