Prabhas, Tollywood's Most Eligible Bachelor, To Tie The Knot With Hyderabad-based Businessman's Daughter: Report

Prabhas is often referred to as the most eligible bachelor of the Telugu film industry. It is reported that the 45-year-old actor is all set to take the plunge and get married soon. However, the Baahubali fame or his family has neither confirmed nor denied the reports. 

Is Prabhas getting married? 

Prabhas has often been linked romantically with his Baahubali co-star Anushka Shetty. However, the actor duo, on multiple occasions, have denied the news of their relationship. Amid this, it is being reported that the actor will tie the knot with a Hyderabad-based girl. 

As per a national news publication, the union has been arranged by the families of the bride and groom-to-be. While the identity of the girl remains unknown, she is said to be the daughter of a businessman. Reports also claim that actor and politician Krishnam Raju's wife, Shyamala Devi, is looking after the wedding preparations.

When Prabhas denied rumours surrounding his wedding

This is not the first time reports of Prabhas tying the knot have surfaced. In 2023, rumours sparked that the actor will get married after the release of his film Salaar: Part 1. In January 2025, industry tracker Manobala Vijayan took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to share that the actor is getting married soon. However, the actor himself dismissed the reports quickly.

Speaking at a pre-release event of his film Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas shared,  “I am not getting married soon because I don't want to hurt the feelings of my female fans.” Addressing the constant conjectures regarding Prabhas' wedding, his Baahubali director, SS Rajamouli, said that the actor is ‘too lazy' to get married and added that he feels ‘it is too much work'. The actor agreed with the filmmaker and asserted, "I am lazy, shy and can't meet people. These are the three problems I have. I used to ask myself why am I in this field. I am not shy in front of the camera. I got used to it in my first film. On set when I see too many people, I get worried. If they take two many takes, then I get worried, but otherwise I am okay."

While Prabhas has not confirmed the recent rumours around his marriage, it has raised fans' anticipation.
