Salaar Re-Release Box Office Collection Day 1: Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire re-released in cinema halls on March 21. Since no new Telugu films were lined up, Hombale Films brought back the hit Prashanth Neel directorial on the big screens after its initial release in December 2023. The advance booking of Salaar re-release opened a few days back and received a good response. On its opening day, the action film minted a little over ₹2 crore, with the majority of its biz coming in from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. While the day 1 collection of Salaar upon its re-release is good, it's way less than the biggest Bollywood re-release opener and the highest re-run grosser - Sanam Teri Kasam.

Going by the reception that Salaar is getting, it seems like the record set by Sanam Teri Kasam is out of reach. Salaar collected over ₹600 crore at the worldwide box office during its initial run. The film's sequel, titled Shouryanga Parvam, is also in the works and has begun shooting.
