Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Box Office Day 4: Nani’s Film Mints ₹33.25 crore In 1st Weekend

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Box Office: Nani’s latest actioner Saripodhaa Sanivaaram opened to positive reviews after its release on August 29. The film with each passing day is showing rise in collections at the box office.

Box office collection of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram

According to Sacnilk, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram earned around ₹9.25 crore nett on its fourth day in all languages. On day 1, the film garnered ₹9 crore, on day two ₹5.85 crore, on day three ₹9.15 crore and on day four ₹9.25 crore. The film’s total collection now stands at ₹33.25 crore.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram had an overall 57.38% Telugu occupancy on Sunday, September 1 with the highest occupancy in Kakinada (70.50%), Guntur (68.25%), Visakhapatnam (66.75%) and Karimnagar (65.50%).

Production house DVV Entertainment took to X to share fans’ reactions to Nani’s film. In one post the production house shared few pictures of people queuing for the film. Along with the pictures, the caption read, “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram wasn’t enough…it took over Sunday as well”.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram sequel in works?

According to a report in 123Telugu, Nani revealed in an interview and during promotional events that there might be a potential sequel of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. But the twist came when he mentioned that there will be scope for second part when fans make the first part a blockbuster.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram directed by Vivek Athreya, the film stars SJ Suryah, Priyanka Arul Mohan and Sai Kumar P. The film released in languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam. The story follows Surya, who fights against injustice on Saturday and locks horns with corrupt Inspector R Dayanand, who brutally attacks innocent people for petty reasons. 

The movie marks the collaboration for second time between Nani and director Vivek Athreya, who previously worked together on Ante Sundariniki.
