Urvashi Rautela Hospitalised After Sustaining 'Terrible' Injuries On NBK109 Set

Urvashi Rautela has been busy shooting for her first full-fledged Telugu movie which is tentatively titled NBK109. However, as per recent reports, the actress has suffered a "terrible" fracture on the sets of the movie, owing to which she has been hospitalised in Hyderabad.

According to a report in 123telugu.com, the actress was filming a high-voltage action sequence for the movie when she sustained serious injuries. She is said to be in pain but is receiving the best of all treatments at the hospital. In a statement issued by Urvashi's team, the actress is said to be out of danger, but more details regarding the severity of the nature of the accident are awaited.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s NBK109 went on floors in November 2023 and recently Urvashi landed in Hyderabad to shoot for the third schedule of the movie.

What else do we know about NBK109?

The actress stepped into the Telugu film industry with Chiranjeevi starrer Waltair Veerayya. In the movie, she had a special appearance in the song Boss Party. Since then, she appeared in three other movies for item number. NBK109 is the first movie in which she has been roped in for a pivotal role.

Directed by Bobby Kolli, the movie also marks the Telugu debut of Bobby Deol, who has reportedly been roped in for an antagonist role. It also stars Dulquer Salmaan and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. Fortune Four Cinemas, Sithara Entertainment, and Srikara Studios have bankrolled NBK109. This film is currently in the production process and is expected to be released in the theatres in May 2024. However, now the release has been postponed.
