Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia and others triggered a massive uproar with his crass remarks about parents and sex on Samay’s web show India’s Got Latent in February. The controversial episode of India's Got Latent was shot in November but aired later, in February 2025. The constant use of abusive language and perverse comments by Ranveer, Samay, Apoorva Mukhija aka The Rebel Kid, Ashish Chanchalni and Jaspreet Singh landed them in trouble, which is under investigation. Following the uproar, all episodes of India's Got Latent were also taken down from YouTube and Samay's app.
