1. Diet sodas are okay to drink

Although there are no sugar preservatives added in diet soda, it is highly acidic. The bacteria inside our mouth are highly acid-loving. Thus they can contribute a lot by causing cavities inside our teeth. Every sip of diet soda attacks the sensitivity of our teeth and tries to damage them.

2. Prefer a dentist only at the time of toothache

One should visit a dentist once in a month as a part of your routine. Daily health check-up of teeth helps us to make a note of the teeth problems which later prevents the expensive surgeries and operations caused by our lazy attitude towards them. Prevention is always a better option after all.

3. White teeth are healthy

The bright white colour of your teeth is not always a sign of their strength. You still have to look after them and pay proper attention. Infections are to be treated as soon as possible. It can harm and affect your teeth in a very serious way.

4. Bad teeth are often inherited

The health of your teeth has nothing to do with your inheritance. But it has to do a lot with the attention you provide to your teeth. The health of the teeth depends upon how you treat them with proper care every day.

5. Brush hard for healthy teeth

Brushing your teeth harder can cause pain in the gums. Teeth are supposed to be brushed softly. Going hard on your teeth can make them go harder on you. Treat them with a lot of patience and care. Brush them twice a day.
