Tajinder Bagga's hilarious '56' challenge over the 2019 Elections' vote-counting date will give Maths teachers nightmares

BJP Delhi spokesperson Tajinder Pak Singh Bagga has triggered what can only be said to be an 'electoral math-fest' following the Election Commission's massive announcement on Sunday about the full schedule of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

BJP Delhi spokesperson Tajinder Pak Singh Bagga has triggered what can only be said to be an 'electoral math-fest' following the Election Commission's massive announcement on Sunday about the full schedule of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Taking to Twitter, Bagga has made a play on the numbers of the counting date - i.e. May 23, 2019 or 23/5/2019 - and essentially thrown an open challenge, asking netizens to convolute the figures using mathematical operations such that the total is 56 - a reference to PM Modi's popular '56-inch chest' line in the run-up to the 2014 general elections in which the Modi wave ensured that the BJP won a historic mandate and the NDA stormed to power.
