After using popular dialogue from 'Gangs of Wasseypur', Press Information Bureau now takes a spin on 'Devdas' popular dialogue 'Babuji Ne Kaha Gaon Chhod do'.

Putting out four pictures with Shah Rukh Khan's famous dialogue that said: 'Babuji ne kaha gaon chhod do ... sab ne kaha Paro ko chhod do ... Paro ne kaha sharab chhod do ... aaj tumne keh diya haweli chhod do ... ek din aayega jab woh kahenge, duniya hi chhod do'. PIB's spin is: 'Babuji ne kaha gaon chhod do ... sab ne kaha Paro ko chhod do ... Par koi kuch bhi kahe main VOTE dena nai chhodunga'. And Jackie Shroff's character Munni Babu also makes an appearance who says, 'W se Waah Dev Baabu'.

Check out the post by PIB who captioned it as: "Voting is citizens right ,responsibility and a duty.

Don't get swayed by what people say

Be a responsible citizen, go out and vote....#ItMatters

This is not the first time PIB released a spin to promote Lok Sabha Elections using Bollywood films. Earlier too, they used a Sunny-Deol featuring Border themed meme.

The post had the character Mathura Das asking his superior, Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri to excuse him from voting, as he has other plans. Dubbing Major Singh's famous dialogue, Mathura Das gets yelled at saying,'Plans kiske nahi hote Mathura Das, Agar sabne plans ka bahana bana kar Vote nahi dala to Democracy kaise majboot hogi?' (Everyone has plans. If everyone used plans as excuses, then how can a democracy be strong?)

And before that, PIB gave more reasons for Simran to run faster towards Raj’s outstretched hand in ‘Dilwale Dulhania le jayenge’ (DDLJ)had posted a DDLJ themed voting post in which Simran’s father, the veteran actor Late Amrish Puri asks his daughter, ‘Kya kaha, Raj har baar Vote deta hai!! (What, Raj votes every time?)’. As Simran answers ‘Han Bauji’, he gives his blessing saying ‘Jaa Simran Jaa, he is a responsible citizen’.
