The Congress has deflected questions on the shameful comment by one of Rahul Gandhi's top MPs BK Hariprasad.

In an abusive remark, Hariprasad had said that Amit Shah had "suwar ka zukham" and that he was cursed for meddling into Karnataka politics.

Priyanka Chaturvedi, Congress' spokesperson said, "We hope that our Opposition leaders fight in good health. Our fight is that of ideologies and we will continue to fight that."

She also said that the party has set the record straight on the matter as Rahul Gandhi himself had wished good health to Arun Jaitley when he was unwell and said Rahul Gandhi believes in the politics of love.

A day after BJP President Amit Shah put out a tweet saying he was suffering from swine flu, the Congress has stooped to a disgusting new low in terms of political rhetoric in their latest attack against the BJP chief.

Here is the abusive comment by MP BK Hariprasad:

"Amit Shah knows very well. Even Narendra Modi knows well that you can't shake Karnataka. On Rafale issue, they've looted Rs 30,000 cr. They think using that money you can destabilise the govt in Karnataka. If there is a duplicate or bogus Chanakya, it's Amit Shah and they've proven this point. They keep trying again and again. Amit Shah is party to this crisis. He's already kidnapped 6 MLAs and placed them at a Mumbai hotel. They've been taken as prisoners and BJP and RSS workers are keeping vigil outside. Some MLAs have returned, so Amit Shah is worried and has fallen ill.

It's not a normal fever, it's called 'pig fever' or swine flu. If you try to meddle with the Karnataka govt, not just 'pig fever', you will also get diarrhoea and vomiting illness," he said.

Hariprasad has continued in the string of Gaali politics used by the Congress which had employed it ahead of the assembly elections.
