"Congress in 'power' is replica of BJP," says Asaduddin Owaisi blasting Rajasthan government for chargesheeting deceased Pehlu Khan; issues political appeal to the people

The AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has lambasted the Congress party, calling them a replica of the BJP following the chargesheet filed by the Rajasthan Police against Pehlu Khan for cow smuggling in the Alwar lynching case of 2017.

The AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has lambasted the Congress party, calling them a replica of the BJP following the chargesheet filed by the Rajasthan Police against Pehlu Khan for cow smuggling in the Alwar lynching case of 2017.

He asked the people from the Muslim community in Rajasthan to 'reject such individuals and organisations' who are 'brokers of Congress party' furthermore asked them to develop their own 'independent political platform'

His tweet read: Congress in “Power” is a replica of BJP, Muslims of Rajasthan must realise this, reject such individuals/organisations who are brokers of Congress party, and start developing their own independent political platform, 70 years is a long time please change.

The dairy farmer, Pehlu Khan was thrashed by an angry mob back in 2017 in Rajasthan's Alwar for transporting cattle. Within five months of the incidence, Rajasthan Police gave a clean chit to six men accused of killing Khan. 

The charge sheet filed by the Rajasthan Police posthumously accused Khan of smuggling, however, on the contrary, his supporters and protesters have maintained otherwise, and said that he was only transporting cattle for the sake of selling and buying.

Khan was charged under Section 5, 8 and 9 of Rajasthan Bovine Animal (Prohibition of Slaughter and Regulation of Temporary Migration or Export) Act, 1995 and Rules, 1995.

Shiv Sena spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi has called out the 'silence' of 'selective liberals' and the BJP MP Subramanian Swamy demanded an apology from the Congress party.
