HP Police Constable results 2019 declared on Website

Himachal Pradesh Police Recruitment Board authority had conducted the 'HP Police Constable Exam' on September 8, 2019. Around 38,214 candidates appeared for the exam at 40 different exam centres. According to sources, 12,705 candidates have cleared the written examination. The authority published the results on September 13, 2019, on their website. Candidates, who have cleared the written examination, will be eligible to appear for the next round of Personality Test. Constables are entitled of a grade pay Rs. 5910-Rs. 20,200 + Rs. 1,900. Extra pay for one month will also be given to constables and head constable, which would be calculated based on their basic pay. Constables are also eligible for free travel on HRTC buses.

 Steps to check HP Police Constable Result 2019

  1. The result is published on the official site of Himachal Pradesh Police Recruitment Board at hppolice.gov.in
  2. On the homepage, navigate to the flashing notice board section 
  3. Click on the link of the relevant examination that you have appeared for
  4. The results will start downloading in a PDF format
  5. Open the PDF format and check for your seat number

About Personality Test

The candidates who have qualified the written examination will appear for the Personality Test in the ratio of 3 persons for each post. The test will be of 15 marks. Each candidate should submit relevant documents in original along with a set of photocopies before appearing for the personality test. Failure of submitting the documents will result in immediate disqualification. Once all the documents are scrutinised, the candidate would go through the test. Candidates who have NCC and NCC (C) certificate will get an advantage of getting an additional 3 marks, whereas candidates with NCC (B) certificate will get an advantage of additional 2 marks.

Detail on Hiring Process

Once the candidate has appeared for the Personality Test, the final results will be declared. Final result's marks will be the sum of the marks obtained by the candidate from his basic list, written test and personality test. Selected candidates will further be sent for medical examination. Those deemed 'medically unfit for the post' would automatically get disqualified. Those selected, will be subjected to a thorough background and character check with the concerned district police. If any discrepancies are found during these verifications, or if the candidate is currently under trial for any offence, he/she would be automatically disqualified. The same seat may be filled by a candidate who is in the waiting list. The candidate who has successfully cleared basic list, written examination, personality test, medical test and character and antecedents test will then be offered the subsequent post.
