Indian Army targets launchpads in Neelum valley

On Sunday, the Indian Army launched attacks on terror launchpads situated inside Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) opposite the Tangdhar sector.

Pakistan has been desperate since the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35 A. There has been a deliberate attempt to spoil the law and order situation in the valley. Post the abrogation of Article 370, the security apparatus was largely successful in ensuring no civilian deaths take place. But now with some relaxation in the communication system, Pakistan has once again resorted to their dirty tricks.

With apple trade gaining momentum in the valley, terrorists are now targeting the economy of Kashmir. In the last few days, non-Kashmiris have come under attack. An investigation carried out by Jammu and Kashmir Police reveals that Pakistani terrorists were involved in the killing of non-Kashmiris.

The terror launch pads have been brimming with terrorists. Inputs suggest that since August 5, over 300 infiltration attempts have been made. On Sunday, the Indian Army launched attacks on terrorist camps situated inside Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) opposite the Tangdhar sector. Terror launch pads in Jura, Athmuqam, Kundalsahi were hit last night. Credible information of terrorists presence in launch pads. This is in retaliation to the support provided by Pakistan Army to push terrorists into Indian territory.  Indian army has used artillery guns to target the terrorist camps which have been actively trying to push terrorists into Indian territory.

Terrorist camps situated inside PoK opposite the Tangdhar sector were targeted by the Indian Army. Four terror launch pads in Neelam valley (PoK) have been destroyed. Fatalities have also been reported. Sources say 4-5 Pakistan Army soldiers have been killed and several have been injured.

According to Indian Army sources, there was an unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan in the Tangdhar sector on Sunday. in response to this, Indian troops retaliated strongly causing heavy damage and casualties to Pakistan Army. Pakistan in fact targeted civilian areas killing one and injuring three civilians. This is the extent of damage caused by the Pakistan Army — One house has been completely damaged, two cars destroyed, two cowsheds with 19 sheep and cattle destroyed, one Rice godown was also damaged.
