RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed a rally at the RSS Dussehra Celebrations on Tuesday. The RSS Chief spoke about the strength of being united. In his speech, he also highlighted the importance so staying united while, recognizing differences. He said a society's strength lies in staying United. 

'Decision to Abrogate Article 370 was supported by everyone'

The RSS chief also spoke about the Abrogation of Article 370 and praised the Government for its decision. He said that the Government is capable of making decisions that the people wanted for a long time. In his speech, he also asserted that all sections of the society have supported the decision to abrogate Article 370. When the decision to abrogate Article 370 happened, everyone supported the decision. The decision was not taken alone,it was introduced in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

“The entire country wanted Article 370 to be abrogated. This new government's first big decision was to infuse development and prosperity in all parts of the country and Jammu and Kashmir was included in that,” he added. Through this, the Government has shaped what the people of India wished for a long time," he said.

'Chandrayaan-2 has proven what India and Indian Scientists are capable of '

He also spoke about ISRO's Chandrayaan-2 mission and opined the mission has proven what Indian scientists are capable of to the world.

"No other nation has tried to touch the moon's south pole, but our scientists did. Even if the mission was not fully successful, but it has proven to the world what India and Indian Scientists are capable of," he said.

On India's economy

On India's economic situation Mohan Bhagwat also spoke about India's economic situation and said, India will overcome the challenges it's facing.

"The government has taken initiatives to tide over the situation in the last one-and-a-half months. Our society is entrepreneurial and will overcome these challenges," he said. Mohan Bhagwat also performed the 'Shastra puja' at the Sangh's annual Vijayadashmi event in Nagpur.
