Despite Pakistan's constant provocation through the dastardly attack on CRPF forces by Pakistan-backed Jaish-e-Mohammad, its attempt to target Indian military bases, and yet another attempt of incursion at KG sector on Thursday morning, it tried to accuse India of causing escalation of the tense situation between the two countries, and portray itself as a victim of 'India's aggression'.

The MEA sources have responded to this fabrication by explaining the exact methods used by Pakistan to provoke India and destroyed the position taken by the nation where it has attempted to portray itself as a peace-loving victim of supposed 'aggression by India'.

Although India had targeted Pakistan-backed terror bases in the country's territory which led to neutralising of 200 foot soldiers and terrorists with zero civilian and military casualties, Pakistan retaliated by attempting to target India's military bases, which was effectively thwarted by Indian Forces.

Instead of taking the onus of the failed attempt by his forces and backing down, Pakistan PM Imran Khan attempted to portray his country as 'a victim of India's aggression' and claimed that Pakistani forces only tried to 'show their ability to respond'', completely avoiding the mention of specific targeting of Indian military installations by them.

"Our action was only intended to convey that if you can come into our country, we can do the same. Two of their MiGs were shot down (in the ensuing action)... The intent was to show India, we can and would respond if aggression would be thrust upon us," he said in a news briefing.

MEA sources responded to this fabrication of events by Pakistan with facts about India's action and how Pakistan response to it makes it the aggressor.

'You are aware of the events that took place on Wednesday. Pakistan is saying it is escalation by India. The fact is that 9.45 hours on Wednesday, over 20 (Pakistan) aircrafts approached the Indian LoC. They breached the 10 kms range. Some even crossed the LoC. They launched some laser-guided bombs. Imran Khan had said there was no military target. Let’s be factual. They tried to target our military assets. It was Pakistan which escalated.," the sources said.
