On the occasion of the 'Missle Man' of India and beloved former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam's 88th birth anniversary, former legendary Indian cricketer, the 'Nawab of Najafgarh' Virender Shewag took to Twitter in remembrance of the brilliant scientist. Former cricketer turned BJP MP Gautam Gambhir also took to Twitter to wish the former President. He tweeted, "Dreams are not what you see when you are sleeping, but dreams are those that do not let you sleep." With their thoughts and support, we salute them on the birth anniversary of our former President Abdul Kalam Ji who gave a new direction to India."

The most loved President of India

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, arguably the most loved President of India, was a scientist who made India proud with his missile defence program. Although Kalam's primary profession was a scientist with DRDO and ISRO, he had on several occasions reported that his favourite job was teaching and that's how he wanted the world to remember him. Due to his charismatic and humble persona students across the nation look up to him. In 2010, the United Nations declared that October 15, the birth date of the 'Missile Man' of India would-be observed as "World Students' Day."
