The most loved President of India
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, arguably the most loved President of India, was a scientist who made India proud with his missile defence program. Although Kalam's primary profession was a scientist with DRDO and ISRO, he had on several occasions reported that his favourite job was teaching and that's how he wanted the world to remember him. Due to his charismatic and humble persona students across the nation look up to him. In 2010, the United Nations declared that October 15, the birth date of the 'Missile Man' of India would-be observed as "World Students' Day."
