Bollywood superstar Salman Khan hasn't disappointed in any way in his response to MoS Youth Affairs and Sports Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore's new and viral #5MinuteAur #KheloIndia challenge.

Khan has taken to Twitter in response to the minister's direct challenge to him and posted in wholehearted agreement with the theme of the campaign. For his own '5 Minute Aur' submission, Salman Khan is on his bike.

It appears to be one of the nether hours, either dawn or dusk, and Salman Khan riding a quite snazzy piece of equipment. In cycling terms, he's at the head of a peloton, with a group of riders pedalling along a short distance behind him. At one point Salman Khan takes both hands off the handlebar.

At the time of publishing, Salman Khan is the second of four people challenged by Col Rathore to respond send in their videos and stories. Ace shuttler Saina Nehwal had been the first, echoing her fellow Olympian Col Rathore's views on the importance of those 5 more minutes.

And here is the minister's original challenge, in which he deftly manages two ping-pong paddles in his hands while speaking simultaneously:

The #5MinuteAur challenge, apart from promoting the Khelo India Games that kicked off in Pune on Wednesday, also aims to encourage more people to play sports, latching on to something many people can associate with -- having to ask for 5 more minutes. The challenge is on similar lines to 2018's viral sensation, the #FitnessChallenge, also initiated by Col Rathore, that aimed to promote fitness at work.
