Congress president Rahul Gandhi's continuing allegations in the Rafale deal despite the Supreme Court giving the matter its clearance were subjected to a point-by-point dismantling in Parliament on Friday, at the hands of Raksha Mantri Nirmala Sitharaman. The Defence Minister's counter, which has been hailed in no uncertain terms by the Prime Minister and Finance Minister, also created significant social media waves. Republic TV's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami's take on the Rafale saga went viral, and now, so has a spin-off of that video from a youngster from England.
In the imitation of Arnab, young Suhruth from London both takes the words of Republic TV's Editor-in-Chief and adds his own insertions. Most significant was his sign-off that Arnab too was all praise for.
He opens the video in a dark blue suit like Arnab and says: "Guys, many of you believe that Nirmala Sitharaman, the Defence Minister of India, that she was too ruthless while systematically destroying the totally unprepared, unresearched and unaware Rahul Gandhi yesterday. Some people feel that out of sympathy if nothing else she could have let him off without pinning him to the ground and literally beating him up factually forcing Rahul Gandhi for a second consecutive day to run away from parliament that too on an issue that he created which is Rafale. I don't think so."
"I have been told by my Dad that Rafale is the biggest lie, the biggest fake news story of the decade. And if it is being exposed as a fake news story now, if the world is getting to know how humongous the lie was in the name of Rafale then the protagonist and author of the lie, even if he is considered a child, like me, at the age of 50 cannot be let off earlier," he goes on.
Taking a strong stand against the Congress President on facts, Suhruth says, "You are a fake Gandhi, Mr. Rahul."
Then, turning his attention to the people of India and doing his own spin-off from the original, Suhruth says, "Dear Indian, the fact is that Rafale - the biggest bore given the extent to which it is being repeated and regurgitated every second day- the whole news story has now fallen flat."
Basing his video on fact, even at that young age, Suhruth quotes from the Supreme Court judgment and says, "The Supreme Court has dismissed it by saying and I quote, 'perception of individuals cannot be the basis of a fishing and roving enquiry by the Court.' "
"Besides the handful of Rahul’s chamchas, nobody gives a damn about it", he echoes from Arnab's lead before his much-praised sign-off.
In his sign-off, the young lad from London stands firmly patriotic and says, "Jai Hind. Bharat Mata ki Jai".

In his lead story on the debate, Arnab Goswami had said:
"Many believe that Nirmala Sitharaman was too ruthless while systematically destroying the totally unprepared, unresearched and unaware Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha today. Some people feel that out of sympathy, if nothing else, she could have let him off without pinning him to the ground and literally beating him up factually, forcing him for a second consecutive day, to run away from parliament on an issue that he created which is Rafale. I don't think so. I have said from day one that Rafale is the biggest lie - the biggest fake news story of the decade. And if it is being exposed as a fake news story now - if the world is getting to know how humongous the lie was in the name of Rafale then the protagonist and author of the lie, even if generally considered a child at the age of 50, cannot be let off. Ladies and gentlemen, the fact is this: Rafale is the biggest bore given the extent to which it is being repeated and regurgitated without anything new every second day. The story has fallen flat - the Supreme Court has dismissed it and besides the handful of Rahul’s chamchas nobody gives a damn about it. Therefore, tonight, louder than ever before, we shall expose the lie with the ruthlessness and precision that it deserves."
"Suhruth, you're a star and have done the intro far better than I did. I loved your ending line: Jai Hind - Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Your patriotism shines through and hope we meet some day."
