TTV Dinakaran's 18 MLAs have decided to fight legally against the verdict of Madras high court by filing an appeal in supreme court soon. The most expected third judge bench 18 MLAs case verdict was delivered by Justice M Sathyanarayanan of Madras high court on Monday which was a major disappointment for 18 MLAs who were backing AMMK leader & independent RK Nagar MLA TTV Dinakaran.

They expected a very favourable verdict, hence TTV Dinakaran and other leaders have decided to keep the flocks together at a resort at Kuttralam at Tirunelveli district of south Tamil Nadu. This verdict was expected to bring a change in the state politics & even DMK was expecting a different kind of verdict being the principal opposition party, But the government of EPS & OPS had again become intact & the status quo remains.

TTV Dinakaran who spoke with media right after the verdict told that nothing is a setback in politics & everything is experience, He also told the next step will be decided after discussing with the MLAs.

However, Dinakaran felt that contesting in the by-elections would be a better option rather than filing an appeal in the higher court. But after the meeting which happened at Madurai today with the disqualified MLAs, they've taken a different decision.

Legally speaking, they've had two options, First one is to forfeit the MLA post & wait for the election commission notification and contest in the by polls,Second one is to approach supreme court against the verdict of the third bench judge of the Madras high court.

After the meeting which happened today, the MLAs have decided to file an appeal at supreme court to show that they aren't guilty and simultaneously contest in by-elections if election commission notifies.

TTV's close aide and disqualified MLA from Andipatti constituency Thangatamil Selvan who spoke to media after the meeting with TTV Dinakaran told that we'll approach the Supreme Court in two-three days to show what speaker did was wrong, We will also face the by-polls if election commission announces the dates for by-elections.

However, there are many legal complexities in this simultaneous decision taken by MLAs since the MLAs stood & won with two leaves symbol in ADMK & they will contest next by elections with the cooker symbol of Amma Makkal munnetra kazhagam. The disqualified MLAs have told that they will soon meet their leader Sasikala & will inform about their decision.
