Three people were killed on Monday after a massive fire engulfed a warehouse in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.

South 24 Parganas: Three people were killed on Monday after a massive fire engulfed a warehouse in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The fire, which started at 3 am, was brought under control after a 7-hour long operation by fire officials.

As per reports, the fire broke out in the warehouse of a branded momo and cake manufacturing company in Nazirabad, Anandpur. The fire then spread from there to the adjacent godown of a decorator's shop.  Six workers who were on the night shift in the two godowns got trapped inside the factory.

Rescue operations are ongoing.
