'Neither Article 370 Nor Terrorism is Returning to Kashmir': Shah's Strong Message to Pakistan

New Delhi: Giving befitting reply to Pakistan over its stand on restoring Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has strongly reacted and reaffirmed that neither the scrapped Article nor terrorism can return to the Union Territory.

Claiming that both Congress and Pakistan have the same intentions and agenda, Shah added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Central government will never allow the return of Article 370 or of terrorism to Kashmir. Taking a jibe on Pakistan and Congress , Shah said, they have forgotten that Modi govt is at the Centre. 

In a post on X, Shah wrote, “But, Congress Party and Pakistan forget that there is Modi Government at the center, hence neither Article 370 nor terrorism is going to come back in Kashmir.”

Shah's remarks follows a statement by Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif wherein he claimed that the Shehbaz Sharif-led Pakistan government and the Congress -National Conference (NC) alliance share a common stance on restoring Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He made the controversial remark while speaking on Hamid Mir's "Capital Talk" on Geo News. Khawaja Asif had said, “Pakistan and National Conference- Congress alliance are on the same page in Jammu and Kashmir to restore Article 370 and 35A.”

‘ Rahul Gandhi Standing With Anti-India Force’: Shah

Shah also claimed that the recent statement by Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif “has once again exposed Congress .” Launching a blistering attack on Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his anti-India statements, Shah accused Rahul Gandhi of supporting anti-India force and hurting the sentiments of Indians.

“ Pakistan 's Defence Minister's statement about Congress and JKNC's support on Article 370 and 35A has once again exposed Congress . This statement has once again made it clear that Congress and Pakistan have the same intentions and agenda. For the last few years, Rahul Gandhi has been standing with every anti-India force, hurting the sentiments of the countrymen,” he tweeted in Hindi. 

The BJP leader also criticised the LoP for questioning the authenticity of the aerial and surgical strikes carried out by Indian armed forces.

"Be it asking for proof of air strikes and surgical strikes or saying objectionable things about the Indian Army, the tune of Rahul Gandhi 's Congress Party and Pakistan has always been the same and Congress has always been hand in glove with the anti-national forces," the Union Minister further wrote.
