NTPC DGM Kumar Gaurav Shot Dead On His Way to Work in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh

Hazaribagh: The Deputy General Manager (DGM) of the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Kumar Gaurav was on his way to work this morning when he was shot in the back and was declared dead when he was taken to the hospital. The assailants are on the run and the police are looking for them.
NTPC DGM Kumar Gaurav Shot Dead in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh
The Deputy General Manager of NTPC, who was working at the Keredari Office, had left his home for work when criminals opened fire at him at around 9:30 am, near Fataha in the Katkamdag police station area. Kumar Gaurav was shot in the back by the assailants and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
Two years ago, at the same spot, the General Manager (GM) of Ritwik Company was shot dead and now, following a second similar case, the NTPC officials in the area are very scared and a fear has spread across the city. The people are scared and feel unsafe to get up and leave their homes, to go to their offices.
The NTPC DGM was shot in such a brutal manner that despite being taken to the hospital, he could not be saved and was declared dead by the doctors. Kumar Gaurav hailed from Bihar and his shocking murder in broad daylight has sparked serious questions on the safety and security of the people in Hazaribagh.

The assailants are still at large and constant efforts are being made to find them. According to Arvind Kumar, the Hazaribagh SP, police raids are underway and the cops are sure that the assailants will soon be caught.
