BJP MLA Ameet Satam Makes Big Claim On Disha Salian's Death Case Cover Up

New Delhi: BJP MLA Ameet Satam, in an exclusive conversation with Republic Media Network, alleged that the Malvani Police Station in Mumbai played a crucial role in covering up the death case of Disha Salian, who was the former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. He also raised suspicions about the then senior Police Inspector and DCP of that zone.

Speaking to Republic Media Network about the alleged role of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh in the cover-up of Disha Salian's case or in assisting the then Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, BJP MLA Ameet Satam stated that it was evident the police at that time had attempted to cover up the incident. He emphasised that such a cover-up, portraying a murder as a suicide, would not have been possible without police involvement.

The BJP leader further asserted that the senior Police Inspector of the Malvani Police Station at that time is a key witness, and the DCP of the particular zone should also be called for questioning. However, he noted that whether the then Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh was involved or not remains a matter of investigation.

Ameet Satam also highlighted that it is crucial to determine whether lower-ranking officers acted on instructions from senior officers or directly on orders from political leaders. He stressed that all individuals named by Disha Salian's father should be summoned for questioning and investigation, including the senior Police Inspector of the Malvani Police Station and the DCP of that zone.

He added that their statements would clarify whether they received instructions from departmental superiors or political authorities at that time.

Meanwhile, earlier today, Disha Salian’s father, Satish Salian, alleged that the Malvani Police deliberately withheld crucial evidence, including CCTV footage and forensic reports, related to the case.

Satish Salian's lawyer, Nilesh Ojha, pointed out that it is the family’s right to access all relevant details, but the lack of transparency suggests a possible conspiracy.

Disha Salian's father claims his daughter was murdered

Breaking his silence five years after her death, Disha Salian's father, in an exclusive interview with Republic Media Network's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami on March 19, claimed that his daughter did not commit suicide but was murdered.

Disha's father has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court, seeking a fresh investigation into the case and the alleged involvement of Uddhav Thackeray's son, Aaditya Thackeray.
