After SpiceJet, IndiGo Hyderabad-Chandigarh Flight Checked for Bomb Threat

Chandigarh: A Hyderabad-Chandigarh IndiGo flight was being checked at the Chandigarh airport following a bomb threat on Saturday, as per the official sources.

The plane was being checked thoroughly by the airport authorities at the isolation bay.

"The plane is being checked in isolation," official sources said.

Meanwhile, Indigo said that upon landing, the aircraft was isolated and all passengers were safely disembarked.

A series of bomb threats have been received by various airlines on domestic and international routes. 

Most of the threats were received through social media and most of them turned out to be hoaxes. 

Meanwhile, five SpiceJet flights, including four domestic and one international, received bomb threat messages on Saturday. The SpiceJet airline has yet to release an official statement regarding the situation.

As of now, SpiceJet has not issued an official statement on the incident, leaving passengers and the public awaiting updates. Security agencies are still investigating the origin of the bomb threats and the potential motive behind them.
