Tragic Lift Mishap: 4-Year-Old Crushed to Death in Hyderabad's Mehdipatnam

Hyderabad: A four-year-old boy, Surender, crushed to death in lift accident in Mehdipatnam. The incident occurred around 10 pm when the child, who was playing near the lift, got stuck while trying to close the door of the lift. 

According to multiple reports, Surender, the son of the apartment’s watchman, was playing in the lift when someone pressed the button to move it upwards. As the lift started moving, he got stuck at the door and was crushed to death.  

Upon receiving information, the police rushed to the spot and recovered the child's body. An investigation has been launched to determine whether there was a technical fault in the lift or if negligence played a role in the incident.
