BREAKING: Nagpur Violence | Fadnavis Warns: Toughest Action Against Those Creating Unrest

Nagpur Violence: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has issued a stern warning against those responsible for the violence in Nagpur’s Mahal area, stating that strict action will be taken against anyone attempting to disrupt peace.  

Following incidents of stone-pelting, including attacks on the police, Fadnavis strongly condemned the unrest. “The situation in Mahal turning tense is highly condemnable. Some individuals resorted to stone-pelting, even targeting police personnel. This is completely unacceptable,” he said.  

The Chief Minister assured that he is closely monitoring the situation and has instructed the Police Commissioner to take all necessary steps to maintain law and order. “Anyone rioting, attacking the police, or disturbing societal harmony will face severe consequences. We will not tolerate any attempts to create unrest,” he added.  

Appealing for calm, Fadnavis urged citizens to cooperate with authorities and uphold Nagpur’s tradition of peace. “I request everyone to act responsibly and not disrupt the city’s harmony. If anyone tries to incite violence, they will face the strictest possible action,” he warned.  

Security measures in the city have been heightened, with section 144 being imposed to prevent further escalation.
