West Bengal Health Department Suspends Sandip Ghosh’s Close Aide

Kolkata: West Bengal Health Department has suspended Dr. Birupakha Biswas, an alleged close associate of the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, who was recently arrested by the CBI on charges of financial irregularities.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), who is currently investigating the Kolkata Rape and Murder Case, arrested Sandip Ghosh on September 3 the former principal of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. Along with Ghosh, three other people have been arrested in connection with the financial irregularities case which include the ex-principal's bodyguard.

RG Kar Financial Irregularities Case: Who All Have Been Arrested by CBI Till Now?

Apart from the ex-principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital Sandip Ghosh, who has been arrested by the CBI after two weeks of rigorous questioning, raids and two polygraph tests, three others have been arrested.  

These arrests have been made in connection with the financial irregularities at the RG Kar Hospital, that have been exposed during the investigation of the Abhaya Rape and Murder Case.

The three arrested along with Sandip Ghosh are -
